  1. Description of Service forthewedding.com is an online platform designed to connect couples planning their weddings ("Couples") with wedding service providers and vendors ("Suppliers"). We provide a matching service by cross-referencing Couples' wedding dates with Suppliers' availability calendars to suggest available services.

  2. Our Role We act solely as a matching platform and directory. We are not a party to any contract, agreement, or transaction entered into between Couples and Suppliers. * We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of the services advertised by Suppliers.

We do not guarantee the truth or accuracy of user listings, availability calendars, or the ability of Couples to pay for services.

Any disputes regarding bookings, payments, or service delivery are strictly between the Couple and the Supplier.

  1. User Accounts To use certain features of the Platform, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate.

Account Security: You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use.

  1. Rules for Suppliers If you register as a Supplier on our platform, you agree to the following:

Calendar Accuracy: You are responsible for keeping your availability calendar, pricing, and service descriptions up to date. Inaccurate availability reflects poorly on the Platform and harms the user experience.

Professional Conduct: You agree to act professionally and fulfill any commitments, bookings, or contracts you make with Couples sourced through our Platform.

Compliance: You must possess all necessary licenses, insurances, and qualifications required to provide your services legally.

  1. Rules for Couples If you use our platform as a Couple planning a wedding, you agree to the following:

Inquiry Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate dates and details when submitting inquiries to Suppliers.

Direct Agreements: You acknowledge that any booking made with a Supplier is a direct contract between you and that Supplier. You are responsible for reviewing their individual terms, contracts, and cancellation policies.

Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

Scrape, data-mine, or extract data from the Platform (including supplier contact info or calendars) for use on competing platforms.

Submit false, misleading, or defamatory information.

Transmit viruses, malware, or any destructive code.

Intellectual Property All content on forthewedding.com, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of forthewedding.com or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute our content without written permission.

Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, forthewedding.com and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or from any interactions, transactions, or disputes between Couples and Suppliers.   3. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
