Where we started
I worked in the wedding industry all my life for my parents' wedding venue. I was strongly involved in the wedding team and as such coordinated weddings and I saw the struggle it is for couples trying to get all the suppliers they wanted free on a date they booked. It was such a pain and hassle and caused so much delay in planning. This is more so the case for friends of mine coming back from abroad to get married. So I decided to create a platform that allows you to plan your wedding on your date from anywhere.
How did it all begin?
Like most good things, it started with a chat, I was giving a consultation to a couple and they wanted to book a date but needed to get all the other suppliers organised first. I thought, why cant I do that for them?

Our marketplace is designed for newly engaged couples who are in the early stages of planning their wedding and need a simple way to find trusted, available suppliers. We’re starting by focusing on couples who value convenience, transparency, and the ability to compare vendors quickly based on their wedding date. By tailoring the platform to their needs — from clear availability to easy communication and secure bookings — we aim to create a seamless experience that feels built just for them. As we grow, this strong foundation of early adopters will help shape the broader community of couples and suppliers on the platform.

My Name is Patrick, I am the founder of For The Wedding.com and was a part of an award-winning wedding team for 12 years, and I want to make wedding planning much much easier.
